Group Parenting Classes
ABOUT THIS PROGRAM:
Designed for individual parents, or couples, the Group parenting Classes are modeled after our very successful Nurturing Parenting Program, and tailored to serve families referred to us by the Department of Children and Families.
These classes are meant to assist parents by introducing them to age-appropriate child-raring methods that emphasize positive reinforcements and alternative discipline methods. Further, these classes stress the importance of family time, appropriate communication strategies, and appropriate family rolls.
