ABOUT THIS PROGRAM:
Centro Las Americas’ Workplace English-as-a-second-language program prepares unemployed and underemployed adults with reading, writing and speaking abilities in English and basic literacy. The program is aimed at adults 18 years of age and older, who are speakers of other languages, and whose limited education English proficiency hampers their ability to enter or advance in the workforce.

The goal of the program is to increase employability among individuals, who are challenged because of their limited English proficiency, by providing them with educational opportunities in a culturally and linguistically supportive environment.
